Telespazio takes part in the Farnborough Airshow 2008
(09/07/2008). Telespazio is to take part in the Farnborough International Airshow 2008 that will be held near London from 14 to 20 July. As one of the world’s leading operators in satellite services, Telespazio will be exhibiting within the Finmeccanica stand its activities in the sectors of earth observation, integrated communications, navigation and in-orbit satellite control.
Telespazio promotes International Summer School at the Fucino Space Centre
(07/07/2008). The first highly-specialised Summer School on flight dynamics is to be held at the Fucino Space Centre, managed by Telespazio from 7 to 11 July 2008. Lecturers from the US universities of Illinois and Princetown and Rome’s “La Sapienza” university, together with Telespazio experts will take part in the initiative dedicated to “numerical methods in astrodynamics”.
Successful demonstration of LIMES in Cyprus
(02/07/2008). A demonstration of the LIMES (Land and Sea Integrated Monitoring for European Security) project – co-ordinated by Telespazio – took place successfully in Cyprus from 7 to 12 June. LIMES is an Integrated Project co-funded by the European Commission within the 6° Framework Programme.
