Boulder, CO – July 6, 2009 – ITT Visual Information Solutions (ITT VIS), a wholly owned subsidiary of ITT Corporation, (NYSE: ITT), announced the signing of international distribution agreements with six independent companies, covering fourteen countries worldwide, for its leading image processing software solution, ENVI. Under these authorized distribution agreements, key distributors of ESRI® ArcGIS® software products will now make the ENVI family of image processing and analysis software products available to their customers. The agreement helps a growing number of professionals get information from geospatial imagery and integrate it with their GIS applications in a variety of industries, including environmental monitoring, urban planning, defense and intelligence, oil and gas, and agriculture.

In addition to the newly signed ENVI agreements, ITT Visual Information Solutions also entered into international distribution agreements with three independent companies in Europe to sell IDL, ITT’s computing environment for data visualization and analysis. Under the distribution agreements, the new distributors will make IDL’s modern, interactive data visualization and analysis capabilities available to professionals in their regions who need to extract meaningful information from complex data.
